It all began with a passion for music. John Fraser Findlay is a Juno-nominated guitarist, vocalist, pianist, and producer based in Toronto, Canada. A Berklee alum, Findlay has built a distinguished career defined by his dynamic blend of rhythm and blues, funk, and swamp-infused jazz-rock. Over the years, he has shared the stage and studio with a diverse range of acclaimed artists including Katrina and the Waves, Rita Chiarelli, Marc Jordan, Sylvia Tyson, and Chuck Jackson. His musicianship, rooted in soulful grooves and virtuosic improvisation, reflects a deep command of melody, harmony, and rhythm.

Beyond his solo work, Findlay is recognized as a skilled arranger, bandleader, and session musician whose versatility has earned him a lasting reputation within Canada’s blues, jazz, and roots communities.
